What to do if the first two tablets of Atyvia may not have worked properly?

I started taking Atywia contraceptive pills (I took the first one at 18:00 on the first day of the period, but after 3 hours I vomited), I took another pill on the second day of the period and after 3 hours I had diarrhea, does contraception work properly or do I have to protect myself for 7 days? If I take a tablet of 3 dnja period and there is no diarrhea or vomiting, do I need 7 days to protect myself?
