No, drinking plenty of water, including sparkling water (such as Żywiec Zdrój strong gas), does not reduce the effectiveness of a birth control ring such as NuvaRing (Ginoring). The ring works by releasing hormones (estrogen and progestogen) directly into the body, and its action is not dependent on the amount of water consumed.
