I am in the process of changing the contraceptive pill from single-component (Azalia) to two-component (Vines). I smoothly switched to new pills, although the information from the manufacturer showed that for the first 7 days the effectiveness of contraception may be reduced. He always takes the tablets punctually at 17:00 every day. During the 4th day of the new therapy, intercourse occurred, during which the condom broke and ejaculation inside the vagina occurred. About 10-11 hours after the whole situation, an Escapelle tablet was taken. Can I be basically calm that the chances of pregnancy are minimal, and such 7-day indications from the manufacturer are mainly a matter of being prudent? In addition, I accepted Escapelle very quickly. I would like to ask for any information that could calm me down :(

Po zmianie tabletek jednoskładnikowych na dwuskładnikowe skuteczność antykoncepcji może być osłabiona przez pierwsze 7 dni, gdyż do terapii zostaje wprowadzona dodatkowa substancja czynna (drugi składnik). Zanim rozwinie on swoje pełne działanie mija nie więcej niż 7 dni, dlatego na ten czas wymagane jest stosowanie dodatkowej, mechanicznej ochrony przed ciążą.

Wskazania ze strony producenta mają więc rzeczową podstawę, nie tylko fakt bycia przezornym.

Tabletka po została przyjęta w wymaganym, najszybszym czasie, co daje najwyższą skuteczność - w tym wypadku tylko 2 na 100 kobiet mogą zajść w ciążę.
