Aby tabletka antykoncepcyjna mogła się nie wchłonąć musi wystąpić biegunka (niekoniecznie ostra), czyli oddanie płynnego lub półpłynnego stolca co najmniej 3 razy w ciągu 4 godzin od zażycia pigułki.

Wodnisty, płynny, jednorazowy, ale w miarę obfity stolec 2 godziny po zażyciu tabletki antykoncepcyjnej nie wpływa na jej skuteczność.
