Nie ma wymogu stosowania witaminy D podczas przyjmowania antykoncepcji doustnej. Witaminę D3 powinno się suplementować w okresie od września do kwietnia, niezależnie od stosowania antykoncepcji, a osoby z niedoborami nawet cały rok.
