Irregular bleeding and spotting in 4 months of use of birth control pills - are they a cause for concern?

Hi, I take Vines tablets already 4 months. By the end of the package I still had 3 active tablets and today I noticed sting and gentle bleeding. I do not hide that I began to worry because I read everywhere from spotting or irregular bleeding should go away up to 3 months.. what could this be caused by?

Owszem, nieregularne krwawienia i plamienia najczęściej występują w okresie pierwszych 3 miesięcy stosowania tabletek antykoncepcyjnych. Każdy organizm reaguje na środki hormonalne inaczej. Być może w Pani przypadku organizm potrzebuje więcej czasu, by przystosować się do zmian hormonalnych zachodzących pod wpływem stosowania tabletek antykoncepcyjnych, dlatego też podobne objawy obserwowane w późniejszym czasie mogą się zdarzyć i zwykle nie są powodem do niepokoju.

Konsultacji z lekarzem wymagają natomiast nieregularne krwawienia, które pojawiają się nagle po dłuższym okresie stosowania, w czasie którego nie obserwowano żadnych zaburzeń krwawienia. Należy wówczas skonsultować się z ginekologiem w celu wykluczenia organicznych przyczyn dolegliwości, np. torbieli.

W opisanej przez Panią sytuacji, jeśli nie występują inne niepokojące dolegliwości, nie ma powodów do obaw.
