Trudno jednoznacznie odpowiedzieć na pytanie, jak zareaguje Pani na lek i czy nie wystąpią efekty lub działania niepożądane zmniejszające Pani czujność. Pramolan nie jest typowym lekiem nasennym, ale przypisuje mu się właściwości ułatwiające zasypianie. Farmakologicznie jest trójpierścieniowym lekiem przeciwdepresyjnym działającym przeciwlękowo i uspokajająco, powoduje uspokojenie, wyciszenie i poprawę nastroju (przy dłuższym stosowaniu).
