Hi, I have been taking Vixpo contraceptive pills for a year. Over the last 4 months, my breasts have started to hurt a lot. The gynecologist changed my tablets to Belara two weeks ago, but breast pain still occurs and is very disruptive. The pain always ceases during bleeding. Please advice, why could this be the case? Is there cause for concern? At the moment, unfortunately, I can not see a doctor.

Breast pain is one of the common side effects of birth control pills. It is associated with an increase in the level of hormones in the blood. And such a symptom should not bother. Probably the cessation of pain during bleeding is associated with the fact that at this time you do not provide hormones to the body. If the pain hinders daily functioning, a change in the contraceptive may be considered. Good afternoon! Please tell me, why can there be chest pain a day with spotting blood? I did not miss birth control pills, now I am taking 16 pills from the second pack in a prolonged mode, I drank 21 pills from 1 pack and 16 pills from 2 packs without a break, there were two days of spotting spotting and on this day my breasts hurt a little. Could it be because I drink in an extended mode? And I was still sick this week, could it be because of illness? I had a sore throat, runny nose. I have been taking birth control pills for 1 year, only at the beginning of taking the pills my breasts hurt, and the last six months I did not hurt.
And is it normal that after about 8 packages such symptoms only appeared, I read that at the beginning of use they appear.
I used it for over 3 years with a one-year break and I did not have such symptoms.
