Nie należy nosić tabletek antykoncepcyjnych w portfelu w ogóle, czy to latem czy też zimą, bowiem zmienne temperatury otoczenia, które są zazwyczaj zbyt niskie lub zbyt wysokie w stosunku do tych, w jakich powinny być przechowywane tabletki oraz zbyt duża wilgotność powietrza mogą wpłynąć na ich właściwości.
Lek powinien być przechowywany w stałej temperaturze nie wyższej niż ta określona przez producenta w ulotce (w temperaturze nieprzekraczającej 30°C, w oryginalnym opakowaniu, chroniąc przed wilgocią i światłem):
