Nie jest to krwawienie z odstawienia, lecz plamienie śródcykliczne, które niekiedy występuje, jeśli pacjentka pomija tabletki placebo. Stan ten jest związany z nadmiernym pogrubieniem błony śluzowej macicy w związku ze zbyt intensywną odpowiedzią organizmu na stymulację hormonalną.

Jeśli przyjmowała Pani tabletki prawidłowo, nie powinno być obaw o ciążę. Krwawienie z odstawienia, które powinno pojawić się podczas przyjmowania tabletek placebo, powinno wykluczyć ciążę.
