Good morning.... I've been taking lafactin in a dose of 35 for 4 days, from tomorrow according to the arrangements with the doctor I am supposed to switch to a dose of 75... Only I have side effects such as insomnia, despite the fact that I take Mirtor 15 for sleep, I also got nausea... My question is as follows.
Should I increase the dosage despite the side effects?
When will sleep improve and nausea disappear?

These symptoms, such as insomnia and nausea, are among the common side effects at the start of treatment with venlafaxine (the active substance in Lafactin). They most often appear in the first days of therapy and gradually decrease in most patients within 1–2 weeks.
If the side effects are mild and tolerable, please increase the dose to 75 mg from tomorrow as directed by your doctor. However, if insomnia or nausea are very severe, prevent normal functioning, or other alarming symptoms occur, you should refrain from increasing the dose and contact your doctor to determine further action.
To reduce the risk of nausea, Lafactin should be taken with a meal.
In your case, this is just the beginning of therapy, so it is worth waiting 1-2 weeks – the symptoms should disappear then.
Any side effects you observe should be reported to your doctor who will decide on further action.
