Skudexa (tramadol + paracetamol) is a pain reliever used for moderate to severe pain, but monthly use requires caution due to the risk of side effects such as nausea, dizziness, liver problems, or tramadol addiction.
Skudexa is a strong preparation and according to the characteristics of the medicinal product should only be used for short-term treatment, usually not exceeding 5 days. Long-term use of NSAIDs (such as dexketoprofen) after surgery may negatively affect healing processes and blood clotting.
After surgery, the dose and duration of treatment should be adjusted according to the patient's clinical condition, renal and hepatic function, and concomitant medications. If the pain after surgery persists at a level that requires the use of Skudexa for such a long time, this must be approved by the treating doctor (orthopaedist), who will assess the clinical condition and possibly prescribe stomach protective medication. I encourage you to consult your doctor, who will assess the need to continue the drug for a month and possibly suggest a gradual reduction in the dose.
