Hello, I'm just changing my birth control pills. I used vibin mini and was prescribed yasmin. What's the safest way to switch to yasmin? (Should I take a 7 day break, start right away with Yasmin after the vibin mini active tablet without taking a break or can I start Yasmin on the 1st day of withdrawal bleeding?) As best I can please help", I change pills due to severe acne and I also want to avoid a drastic transition for the skin...

To ensure immediate protection, the first Yasmin tablet should be taken the day after the end of the Vibin mini blister, i.e. after the last Vibin mini white tablet.
You can also skip the placebo pills and start Yasmin immediately after the last active Vibin mini tablet. Then the protection will also be maintained.
The most important thing is that the interval between active Vibin mini and Yasmin tablets should not be longer than 7 days.
Therefore, it is best to finish the Vibin mini blister and start using Yasmin when you would start another one. This will minimize the risk of spotting or intracyclic bleeding. However, if you decide to skip the 7-day break, spotting may occur while taking Yasmin, then you should continue to take the Yasmin blister tablets without paying attention to the bleeding/spotting. Usually, the situation with spotting or bleeding is regulated during the first 2-3 cycles.
