Is Clexane 40 mg twice a day too high for a person weighing around 50 kg?

Hello, I have a question, I have had my leg in a cast for almost 4 weeks, the doctor recommended me clexane
40mg 4 ml 2 times a day for 2 weeks. I weigh about 50 kg. Isn't that too much for my weight?

The dose of Clexane (enoxaparin) is usually selected individually by the doctor based on body weight and clinical indications. A dose of 40 mg twice a day is more commonly used in the treatment of thrombosis rather than standard prophylaxis, and can be relatively high in a person weighing 50 kg.

It is safest to confirm the dosage with a doctor who knows the full picture of the patient's health to avoid the risk of bleeding. Do not change the dose yourself or stop treatment without consultation.
