Are birth control pills with an expiration date of November safe to use in September and October?
12.99 zł

I bought Midiana contraceptive pills with an expiration date of November (I was asked if it didn't bother me). I would take them in September and October, so technically they are still good, but somehow I had doubts and fears whether such a short expiration date is safe.

You can safely use the purchased Midiana tablets in September and October - until the end of November, the drug remains fully effective and safe, because drug manufacturers guarantee the stability of the active substance throughout the entire shelf life indicated on the packaging. The expiry date results from studies confirming that the drug works as effectively until the last day of this period (the last day of November). After this period, effectiveness is no longer guaranteed.
