Am I protected if I am about 24 hours late with my 18th Vixpo tablet?

Hello, can taking the missed 18th tablet of Vixpo with a 24-hour delay affect the effectiveness of contraception? I take the pills more or less at the same time at 5.30-6.00 p.m., I took the late pill at 5.30 p.m., and the next proper one (i.e. 7.30 p.m.) at 7.30 p.m. on the same day.

You have done the right thing and the protection is maintained.

According to the manufacturer:
"If the delay in taking the pill is less than 24 hours, contraceptive efficacy is maintained. A woman should take the missed pill as soon as she remembers and take the next pills at the usual time."

Since in your particular case it was +/- 24 hours, the protection is maintained and there is no reason to worry.
