After laparoscopy, I got a prescription for two packages of gynalgin, i.e. 20 vaginal pills, my question is: isn't it too much? In the specification of this drug, you can read that the recommended dose is 10 tablets, i.e. 1 package. What should I do? Should we choose them to the end or stop at one package?

Gynalgin is a medication used to treat vaginal infections, containing two active ingredients: metronidazole (an antibiotic) and chlorquinaldol (an antifungal). Standard therapy usually lasts 10 days, during which it is recommended to use one vaginal tablet per day.
The use of Gynalgin for 20 days (20 tablets) is not standard practice and should only be carried out on the recommendation of a doctor. Prolonged use of the drug may increase the risk of side effects, such as irritation, allergic reactions, or the development of antibiotic resistance.
If you have any doubts about the length of therapy - it is best to consult a doctor. If, on the other hand, you do not have the opportunity to contact a specialist - in my opinion, you should stop using the drug after 1 package.
