Can swallowing a Vines pill without water harm its absorption into the body?
i swallowed my Vienva birth control pill without any water , after feeling a discomfort in my throat after two minutes i chugged a bottle of water. i’m afraid it got stuck in my throat and/or slowly dissolved in my throat , i’m wondering will this change the time it reaches my stomach and does this reduce the effectiveness of the pill? i drank plenty of water after and even a few sips of soda

Even if the pill stuck to the throat for a while, as a result of drinking a large amount of water, it eventually went to the stomach anyway. If it were to dissolve a little in the throat - it would not harm the overall effect of the drug, because the substance will be absorbed through the membranes anyway.
