Should I be concerned about the light pink spotting, when taking the pills it is the 23rd day of the cycle and I have a few pills left, I didn't miss any of them maximum 30 minutes after the time I set? I've been taking the pills for a year now and I haven't had a situation like this for a long time

Spotting/mid-cycle bleeding is a common side effect of hormonal contraception, which can occur not only at the beginning of use, but also after a long time, e.g. as a result of illness or excessive stress. Usually, this is not a cause for concern. If the pills are used as prescribed, contraceptive protection is maintained. If spotting persists, it is worth visiting a gynecologist to rule out non-hormonal causes.
