Can drinking Dilmah apple tea affect the effectiveness of the contraceptive pill Symbella?
9.99 zł

Good morning, can drinking Dilmah apple tea (Ceylon black tea from the Udapusselawa region (BOPF leaf), aroma (5%), apple (0.5%).) affect the effectiveness of the contraceptive pill Symbella? I've read that Ceylon tea can stimulate digestion and that's why I'm worried. I drank the tea 7 hours after taking the pill.

To @Ola:

Yes, Ceylon tea does not speed up digestion in such a significant way. Despite its many health benefits, Ceylon tea is mainly known for such health benefits as strengthening the immune system, improving concentration, brain function, and supporting weight loss.

No, tea drunk 7 hours after taking the contraceptive pill will not affect its effectiveness. There is no need to worry. For more information on the interaction of birth control pills with food/drink and other medicinal products, see:
