Hi, after months of using aloxidil, my child has experienced dermatitis, can it be related to the use of the product? Can the treatment continue as horror, flaking and itching appear? Thank you

Side effects of minoxidil preparations (e.g. Aloxidil) include, m.in, local irritation including peeling of the skin, erythema, inflammation and dryness of the skin, hirsutism, burning and rash. The drug should only be used on healthy skin. If there is severe inflammation, it is recommended to consult a doctor who will decide on further therapeutic treatment. If necessary, you can also take advantage of a teleconsultation, e.g. via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:

I also encourage you to report the occurrence of adverse reactions of the preparation. Reporting side effects allows you to increase control over the medicines available on the market. We wrote more about how and why to report side effects in the article:

In Poland, minoxidil preparations are available without a prescription in online and stationary pharmacies. Choosing the offer of an online pharmacy allows you to compare prices and order the preparation with home delivery or personal collection at the pharmacy of your choice:
