Hello, I currently have elevated liver values. My gynecologist has therefore just changed the pill (currently Yaluvea) and prescribed me the pill Drovelis. Is it true that this is not metabolized by the liver and that the risk of thrombosis is significantly lower?
Or should it be better to completely avoid hormones in the case of elevated liver values?

Elevated liver enzyme levels can affect the metabolism of hormones, including birth control pills. It is difficult to assess whether in this case it will be advisable to give up hormonal contraception without knowing your medical records.
The contraceptive pill Drovelis contains two active substances: estradiol and dienogest. According to studies, dienogest is metabolized to a small extent by the liver, which means that the risk of thrombosis is lower than with other birth control pills. However, each case is different and the decision to take the contraceptive pill should be made after consultation with your doctor. If you do not have the opportunity to consult your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:
