Is it possible to take another pain reliever if I am taking Ketonal Duo?

Hello. My husband is having a TURP procedure to remove his prostate. In addition to antibiotics and others for the urinary system, he was given Ketonal Duo. But he's 1; per day or can he take some other painkiller?
No, he does not answer at the number given on the discharge
