Can I take birth control pills intermittently, only when I am planning to have sex?

Good afternoon. I want to start taking Jazz Plus contraceptives. The gynecologist recommended them. The question is: is it possible to take contraceptives in the months when there is a need, that is, when there is a sex life, and in the months when there is no need not to drink. Won't such breaks affect efficiency? Should it be taken in full cycles and completed when packaging is complete?

Such use of the drug is possible, but it can upset the cycle - it is worth knowing that the pills only work if they are used regularly.

Do not interrupt the cycle of taking the tablets, e.g. finish the blister halfway - because then the intercourse may be incorrectly secured and there is a risk of pregnancy.
