I've been using ginoring for two and a half weeks now. I should have taken it out on Saturday and got my period, but somehow I started bleeding today with ginoring on.
Is this normal at first? From what I understand, there should be no bleeding when ginoring is in use.

This is a typical reaction in the first 3 months of using hormonal contraception. The symptoms you are experiencing are related to the switch of the hormonal axis to the contraceptive ring. The body gets used to the supply of hormones and spotting and bleeding may occur while wearing the disc.
Spotting and mid-cycle bleeding should subside at 3-4 discs. If you continue to experience similar or more severe symptoms in the next cycle, please contact your gynaecologist. If you do not have the opportunity to consult your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:
