Good morning. I've been thinking for a long time about giving up the hormonal contraception Atywia Daily. He has been taking it since he was 18 years old (4 years). I also have Hashimoto's (Euthyrox 25) so I'm androgen charged. I don't know how to go after such a long time of using the pills to leave them. Best regards

In general, you can stop using hormonal contraception by taking the last pill in the pack. It is not necessary to implement a specific drug treatment procedure. Due to the concomitant disease, it is possible to consult an endocrinologist, because combined contraceptive pills may weaken the effect of Euthyrox (therefore, after discontinuation of Atyvia, the effect of Euthyrox on the body may be increased). It's a good idea to have blood tests to assess thyroid hormone levels.
