The concentration of norepinephrine can be determined by performing laboratory tests from blood or from daily urine collection. We have written about how to prepare for the tests in the following articles:

The result should be interpreted by the attending physician in conjunction with the patient's well-being. Your doctor should assess whether your norepinephrine level is "adequate" or not.

Bupropion is a selective norepinephrine and dopamine reuptake inhibitor with minimal effect on serotonin reuptake. Norepinephrine norms should be considered individually by the attending physician.
The possibility of excessive increases in neurotransmitter concentrations is not excluded.
Side effects of the drug include, m.in, insomnia, worsening of depression, anxiety, confusion, impaired concentration.
