Is it possible to switch from Relanium to Escipram if I have side effects?

I'm being treated for depression and I'm taking escipram. I also have a problem with alcohol and after the last few days I was given relanium. However, my mood has improved, I have nightmares, hallucinations and I wake up all wet. I've been taking Relanium for two days. Can I combine it with escipram? Can I stop taking relanium after 2 days and go back to taking escipram?

Since both Relanium and Escipram are prescription medicines, your doctor should decide whether to change your dosage.
Theoretically, there are no contraindications to discontinuing Relanium after 2 days and returning to Escipram, but as I mentioned, the final decision should be made by the doctor.
