Taking a break for withdrawal bleeding, as recommended by the manufacturer, will not affect the effectiveness of hormonal contraception, even if previous packs of Belara have been taken without interruption.
Taking Belara tablets without a stop for withdrawal bleeding should be more of an "occasionally" situation - unless otherwise advised by your doctor. Usually, when skipping a break, patients observe more frequent side effects such as spotting and abdominal pain.
