Can I start using Qlaira 3 weeks before my period?

If I start taking the pills Qlaira from the 5th day of the month if I have my period in 3 weeks ? If so, which pill should I start with or normally from the first one?

If you have not used hormonal contraception in the last month, you should start taking Qlaira tablets on day 1 of your natural menstrual cycle (i.e. on the first day of menstrual bleeding).

Any other course of action is not recommended according to the documentation and may be associated with poorer tablet tolerance in the initial period of use, longer adaptation time, and a higher risk of spotting and mid-cycle bleeding. In exceptional situations, such as irregular periods or a very long menstrual cycle, a gynaecologist may recommend a different way to start using Qlaira. However, taking the first pill on a day other than day 1 of the cycle will cause that it will not provide immediate protection against pregnancy and additional protection (e.g. a condom) will be necessary. In addition, it may also be necessary to reliably rule out pregnancy.
