Is spotting before stopping Belara use normal?

Hello, I have a question. I take Belara contraceptive pills a year of time, I still have 3 pills left and I should get a period after choosing them but now my stomach hurts in the lower abdomen and I had brown spotting. Is this normal?

Spotting is an side effect that often accompanies taking birth control pills. It can occur not only at the beginning of using birth control pills, but also after a long time, e.g. as a result of illness or excessive stress. This is usually not a cause for concern.
