I've been taking Vibin birth control pills for a few months now, I've recently gotten small spots and my stomach hurt - is that worrying?

Good morning, I have been taking Vibin contraceptive pills for several months. I should take a placebo tablet only next Saturday - it's Thursday and I got a small spot (mainly brown, slightly red) and my stomach hurt please tell me if it's worrying?

Taking birth control pills may reduce cycle control, which is manifested, m.in by mid-cyclic spotting. If the tablets have been taken correctly, there is no need to worry. Transient disorders can also result from other reasons such as stress, change of diet, trips, infections, etc. The tablets should be taken according to the current schedule regardless of the occurrence of bleeding. Abdominal pain can be caused by the use of contraception, but other causes should also be ruled out. If the situation repeats in subsequent cycles, I encourage you to consult the problem with a gynecologist. On our website you can check the availability of the drug and make a reservation at the pharmacy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/82280/vibin-tabletki-powlekane/apteki I recommend the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/antykoncepcja-hormonalna
