Will the fact that I once took birth control pills affect fetal defects?

Hello! If I take pills for 3 years, and in the near future I want to give them up, and try to have a baby. Will the fact that I took pills ever have an impact on fetal defects? Or something similar?

No, birth control pills taken before pregnancy will not affect the development of the fetus. Hormonal contraception studies did not indicate toxic/teratogenic effects on the foetus.
