What should I do if the 3rd contraceptive patch detaches on Saturday if the Day of the contraceptive patch is on Wednesday?

What should I do if my patch change day is on Wednesday. And my third patch from the series (the last one before a week's break) peeled off during the bath on Saturday. Should I start a new cycle, start a new pack, skipping a week without a patch on Sunday? Should I peel off this patch, take a week off and apply another patch the following Sunday? And can there be any side effects when changing the day of applying the patch?

What medicine does your question refer to? From the description, I can guess that the question is about the drug Evra. In this case, please read on. When peeling off the 3rd patch on Saturday, it is recommended to stick a new patch as soon as possible. If no more than 24 hours have elapsed before sticking a new patch from the spare packaging, it is recommended to leave it until the Day of changing the patch (i.e. until Wednesday). On Wednesday, peel off the patch. After that, you should normally take a 7-day break. If more than 24 hours have passed since the patch detached, immediately apply a new patch and start a new 4-week cycle. If you do not have a spare pack of the drug, I encourage you to use the teleadvice offered, m.in. by the Gdziepolek.pl portal, which will allow you to obtain an e-prescription: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-ginekologiem We wrote more about how to get an e-prescription by phone in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/blog/jak-telefoniczne-otrzymac-recepte-i-zwolnienie-lekarskie When using the patches, side effects described in the leaflet may occur, such as irregular spotting, breast pain, abdominal pain. The package leaflet describes all side effects reported so far. This does not mean that they have to occur with you. About whether to be afraid of side effects of drugs, we wrote in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-bac-sie-dzialan-niepozadanych-lekow I enclose a link to check the availability of Evra patches and make a reservation at the selected pharmacy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/28646/evra-system-transdermalny/apteki We wrote more about how to properly use contraception in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
