Could the smell of the essential oil have affected the effectiveness of the birth control pills in the package?

Good morning. I have an unusual question. I stored the new pack of Yasmin contraceptive pills in an unopened cardboard box in a plastic box in a drawer. In this plastic packaging there was also fragrance oil, also enclosed in a cardboard package. Nothing spilled only in the box in which I kept the tablets and the oil smelled of this oil. Could the smell have affected the effectiveness of the tablet in any way?

No, if the tablets were in the blister, the smell/vapor of the oil could not have had a significant effect on their performance. The blister protects the tablets from external influences.
