Good evening. Applies Atywie Daily. Today I took 1 tablet from the new bilister. He uses contraception all the time. I took. A tablet at 12:40, and after 21:00 I was chased to the toilet, a disposable loose stool (a large amount). Does this affect the effectiveness of contraception? Can I coexist with injection inside without mechanical protection? I ask because this is the first tablet from the new bilister. Best regards

More than eight hours passed between taking the tablet and the abnormal stool, so this should not affect the effectiveness of the tablets. According to the documentation of the drug: "If you develop severe gastrointestinal disorders (e.g. vomiting, diarrhoea) within the first 4 hours after taking the tablet Atywia Daily, the absorption of the active substances may not be complete and additional contraceptive methods should be used." As I explained at the beginning, the time after taking the tablet was sufficient for it to absorb. Therefore, there is no indication for the use of additional protection. However, the decision whether to use condoms when using hormonal contraception - regardless of its declared effectiveness - belongs to you and your partner. First of all, the condom additionally protects against sexually transmitted diseases. In addition, it is an additional safeguard for people who, despite the very high effectiveness of contraceptive pills, do not accept even a small risk of pregnancy.
