According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, the anaesthetist should be informed before surgery that the patient is taking beta-blockers (e.g. Metocard ZK). Their discontinuation for the duration of the operation is not recommended. Tell your doctor before the procedure about all the medicines you are taking, he will decide how to proceed in your case. When switching medications, follow the instructions given by your doctor. Nedal and Metocard ZK contain different active substances, but belong to the same group of drugs - beta-blockers. During discontinuation of beta-blockers, it is recommended to gradually reduce the dose, but if you switch preparations from the same therapeutic group, it is possible that the doctor will recommend a change overnight. Through Gdziepolek in the selected pharmacy you can book the drug Metocard ZK: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/48711/metocard-zk-tabletki-o-przedluzonym-uwalnianiu/apteki I enclose information about the possibility of using teleconsultation: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja
