Could taking birth control pills with a few hours of differences cause bleeding?

Good evening, I have been using Asubtela contraceptive pills for 2 years. For the last week I have been taking pills irregularly, where I should at 1 pm (once at 14, 17). Could this be the reason for the bleeding that started 3 days ago? I should have menstruation in a week (if I stop taking pills for 5 days). How long should such spotting last, does contraception work now and I do not have to use other methods of contraception? I don't feel any other discomfort

I can comment on what you said because I have had a similar situation. I took the pills not regularly with time shifts and got the same bleeding that lasted 2 weeks before the placebo pills. At the beginning of the next package I went to the gynecologist and it turned out that due to time shifts the graff follicle began to grow. Contraception worked because ovulation did not occur, but the risk was. The bubble was already large in size. Therefore, I advise you to adhere to one hour and the maximum time shift can be up to 30 minutes as the gynecologist told me I greet and hope I helped

Occasional use of contraceptive pills with delays of several hours should not cause intracyclic bleeding and has no effect on the effectiveness of contraception. Intracyclic bleeding is an adverse reaction that can occur not only at the beginning of using birth control pills, but also after a long time, e.g. as a result of illness or excessive stress. This is usually not a cause for concern. If the pills were used as directed, then contraceptive protection remains preserved. If the bleeding persists for a long time or repeats in the next cycle, it is worth visiting a gynecologist who will conduct tests to exclude non-hormonal causes of bleeding.
