I use Slinda tablets. On the 8th day I took the tablet 2 hours later, on the 10th day - 3 hours later. Has the contraceptive effect been weakened?

Hello, I take slinda tablets (it's already 4 or 5 pack). The first time I happened to take a tablet with a delay of 3 hours (it was the 8th tablet), 2 days later I forgot about the tablet again and again there was a 3h delay (10 tablet). In the week when there were these two delays, I had intercourse. Should I worry or does a few hours delay on these tablets not reduce the effectiveness of contraception?

In the case of tablets containing in their composition the active substance from the group of progestins, it is very important to take them at even, 24-hour intervals. Any delay in taking the tablet may weaken the contraceptive effect. In this case, it is recommended to use an additional method of contraception, e.g. mechanical (in the form of a condom), for the next 7 days. More information on the use of the so-called mini-pills can be found in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/tabletki-antykoncepcyjne-jednoskladnikowe
