Can I use Evra patches if I suffer from thrombocytopenia?

Good morning, he has been suffering from thrombocytopenia for 12 years. For two years he has not taken any medication, the level of platelets remains over 100 thousand. I started using the Evra contraceptive patch without consulting my hematologist. I have a little doubt if it is safe ... please help

No adverse reaction such as a decrease in platelet counts has been reported with Evra patches, nor is it a contraindication to the use of hormonal contraception. Have you informed your gynecologist about all your medical conditions? If so, please follow the instructions for the use of the patches that you have given and inform the haematologist at the next visit about all currently taken preparations. I encourage you to familiarize yourself with the materials that are helpful when using hormonal contraception. I enclose a link through which you can use the teleconsultation, if the need arises: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jakie-leki-oslabiaja-skutecznosc-antykoncepcji https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
