I use Vines birth control pills and I happened to take 7 pills 16 hours too early. I always take the pills at 16:00, and at midnight I looked at the phone and thought that I forgot to take the pill, and it turned out that I took it too early by 16 hours. Can the effectiveness be reduced, or does it balance it by skipping a tablet?

If you took another tablet at the same time (i.e. in one day you took one dose too many: one tablet at midnight and another at 16:00), the contraceptive effect is preserved. If you take your next tablet only the next day at 16:00, the time interval may be too long to guarantee the full effect of Vines (then I suggest using additional protection for a week).
