Can I be pregnant if I missed the last Orlifique tablet and had intercourse on the 3rd day of the current cycle?

Hi, if I forgot to take the last tablet of the ornifique blister before the placebo tablets and the next package I started to take as I should it is possible to get pregnant? I will add that I did not have sex after skipping the tablet only after 3 tablets from the new package. Thank you in advance for your reply.

If you missed the last active tablet from the previous orlifique pack and then had a 7-day break (i.e. hormones were not given for a total of 8 days), contraceptive protection may have been reduced. According to the information contained in the Summary of Product Characteristics, adequate protection stabilizes after 7 days of continuous intake of active tablets, so if intercourse has occurred earlier, there is a risk that pregnancy has occurred. To confirm or exclude pregnancy, after 7-10 days after intercourse, a pregnancy test can be performed, the types of which can be viewed at the following link: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/test-ciazowy-jaki-wybrac-i-kiedy-zrobic You can also go to the laboratory to measure the concentration of chorionic gonadotropin (beta-HCG) or directly to your gynecologist.
