Good morning, I take the contraceptive pills Aktywia, I skipped two (one in 1 week of ovulation and the other in 2 weeks) on the second day after skipping them I took the overdue pill and the one that I should normally take. 4/5 days after this event there was intercourse with ejaculation inside the vagina, what are the chances of fertilization in this case? I would like to add that apart from this incident, the pills were taken conscientiously at the same time. Thank you and please reply.

If more than 12 hours have passed, the effectiveness of Atyvia may be reduced. The likelihood of getting pregnant increases with the approaching period of use of green placebo tablets ( Atywia Daily) or with the approaching period of interruption in the use of tablets (Atyvia). If you took two tablets at the same time, it means that more than 12 hours have passed. An additional non-hormonal method of contraception should be used for the next 7 days. So if a mechanical method of contraception was not used within 7 days of skipping the pill, there is a likelihood of fertilization. This is what the leaflet shows, of course, there is a risk of fertilization, but it does not have to happen. Hormonal contraception never has a 100% effectiveness.
