Hello. Do poorly chosen birth control pills continue to work contraceptively the same way as others? If the tablets are too weak, e.g. mid-cycle tribes join, do they still protect?

For @Katarzyna: In order for successful implantation and pregnancy maintenance to occur, the thickness of the endometrium should be at least 7 mm - most often from 7.5 mm upwards. Therefore, in your case, the thickness of the endometrium of 6.4 mm does not indicate that the drug works badly and with properly used tablets the risk of pregnancy is negligible (it is about 1%). Thank you for telling me. I take the pills very regularly, I do not skip anything and I am careful about other drugs, but the doctor mentioned that my endometrium is 6.4 mm or is it not too much with tablets? I take them very carefully and have never missed any

If you use the tablets correctly and do not take other medicines that may weaken their effectiveness, protection is maintained despite the observed spotting.
