Can I take Vines pills if I have a contraceptive implant? Does diarrhoea and vomiting affect the contraceptive effectiveness of Vines?

Hello, I have had a contraceptive implant for two years, since June I started bleeding and spotting, now I have been bleeding for a month I got vines pills today, for these bleedings and I have to take them for a month, can you take these pills without fear? Can any vomiting, diarrhea weaken contraception in my case?

Vines tablets should be washed down with still water. There is no need to make intervals from taking a tablet for coffee or food. Both coffee and food do not affect the effectiveness of Vines.

And can I drink carbonated mineral water? Should I keep any distance from food or coffee before or after taking the tablet?

Bleeding and spotting may occur during the use of the implant. The sudden appearance of bleeding should be consulted with a gynecologist. In my opinion, if there is something wrong, it should be given to you by the doctor at your visit. The doctor should conduct an interview and examination and on this basis indicate the probable cause of bleeding in your case. The tablets should be taken daily at a fixed time. These can be the morning or evening hours. It is likely that the tablets will not affect the effectiveness of the implant. As I mentioned below, vomiting and diarrhea do not affect the effectiveness of the implant. The contraceptive effectiveness of the implant may be affected by the use of drugs from the following article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jakie-leki-oslabiaja-skutecznosc-antykoncepcji

In general, until June I did not feel any side effects of this implant, from June began spotting and bleeding is it normal? Now I was bleeding for a month. I have to take these pills in the morning, does the hour matter? Will the implant work separately in such a combination and when the action of the tablets is weakened, it will still work?

Assuming that the implant is working properly, vomiting or diarrhea will not affect its contraceptive effectiveness. To maintain contraceptive effectiveness, it is necessary for one of these two methods to function properly.

Contraceptive pills have been prescribed for bleeding, I have to take one pack, but I do not know if something weakens the effect of the pills, whether the implant will work unchanged.

If you have a contraceptive implant, it is not recommended to use other hormonal contraceptives (e.g. Vines) unless your doctor has advised otherwise. The combined use of more hormonal agents increases the risk of side effects: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/37472/implanon-nxt-implant/apteki Why should Vines tablets be used for? In the event that it is suspected that the implant does not fulfill its function and the pills are to be a method of contraception, the occurrence of diarrhea and vomiting within 3-4 hours of taking the drug will reduce their contraceptive effectiveness: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/81748/vines-tabletki-powlekane/apteki I encourage you to read an additional opinion on this topic: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/84259/implanon-czy-zmiana-krwawien-podczas-stosowania-implantu-antykoncepcyjnego-moze
