Yes, the drugs Paroxinor and Bonogren can falsify the result of the prolactin level test. The drugs Paroxinor and Bonogren can raise the concentration of prolactin in the blood - a hormone responsible m.in for stimulating milk production by the mammary glands of the mother after the birth of the baby. It also has other functions in the human body – from affecting the proper functioning of the reproductive system, through affecting the behavior, well-being and regulation of the immune system. Tell your doctor about the medicines you are taking and their effect on prolactin levels, who will interpret the test result. Quetiapine may affect the concentration of prolactin in plasma.
