Hello today the gynecologist wrote me contraception in the form of a hormonal disc, I read that the contraindication to use is Migraine with Aura. What to do in such a situation?

The use of the disc may increase the incidence and severity of migraines and increase the risk of a cerebrovascular incident. The doctor will choose another method of contraception. In women with migraine, it is usually recommended to use one-component hormonal contraception, which does not contain the estrogen component responsible for the severity of migraine.
