Mid-cycle bleeding and mood swings at the beginning of contraceptive pills - is it a reason to change the pills?
I have been taking wines for 5 months now. The last two months I have two weeks of spotting. I still have frequent changes in mood. Is it better to change the medication because of these symptoms or will everything set itself? I have an appointment with a doctor, but in two weeks

A possible change of tablets should be decided by the gynecologist. However, it is known that in the first months of use, the incidence of side effects, including mid-cycle bleeding, is higher, because the body adapts to the changes occurring under the influence of hormones taken. Usually, the period lasts about 3 months, but in some patients it may last a little longer. Please wait for the appointment with the gynecologist and do not stop using the tablets for the time being. There is no guarantee that the use of other tablets will not be associated with the occurrence of side effects.
