Over a week ago, I stopped taking Slinda one-component tablets. I was supposed to have a period of time that week - but it didn't show up, as did the withdrawal bleeding, after what time should I start worrying?

The absence of withdrawal bleeding while using Slinda contraceptive pills is usually not a cause for concern. In the case of single-component contraceptive pills, which include Slinda, withdrawal bleeding often does not occur at all. The Slinda Summary of Product Characteristics states: "Withdrawal bleeding (defined as bleeding that begins within 4 days with placebo tablets and lasts up to 8 consecutive days) was most common in the first cycles, with withdrawal bleeding occurring in less than 40% of women taking single-component tablets and this frequency decreased over the course of the study. After 9 months of taking the tablets, withdrawal bleeding was reported in less than 20% of women using the tablets. "In some women, bleeding disappears as early as the first month of use. If you have taken the tablets according to the manufacturer's recommendations and there are no other disturbing symptoms, there is no reason for concern.
