I forgot to take 1 tablet of Belar after a 7-day break. Is contraception preserved?

Hello, I had a 7 day break in the packaging of the drug Belara, I forgot to take the tablet on Monday I took only the tablet on Tuesday or after 8 days, is there a need to use additional contraception or take 2 tablets from Monday and Tuesday together?

Yes, in this case there is a need for additional security, e.g. a condom. If you miss a tablet in 1 week of use, take the last missed film-coated tablet immediately, even if this means taking two tablets at the same time. The next film-coated tablets should be taken at the usual time. In addition, for the next 7 days, mechanical methods of contraception, e.g. condoms, should be additionally used. The manufacturer also points out that: "if the patient missed taking the tablets in the 1st week of the cycle and during the previous 7 days (including during the period of interruption in the use of tablets) sexual intercourse occurred, the possibility of pregnancy should be considered. The more tablets missed and the shorter the interval to the interval in the use of tablets, the greater the risk of getting pregnant." Therefore, if you were in such a situation, it is worth taking a pregnancy test.
